Liebertwolkwitz is an urban district of Leipzig, that got known in the past by its role in the battle of the nations at Leipzig. I am quoting it here because of the doings of the lieutenant of the Dragoners Guido von der Lippe, who nearly reached to change history at October, 14th 1813. At that date he encountered the leader of the enemies army, Marschall Joachim Murat, who was hardly protected and immediately began to attack him. It was a big fortune for the napoleonic troops that his equerry was able to help him flee. But this was no fortune for the equerry because this costed himself his life.
